Covert Narcissism

Same as the overt condition but with the volume turned down and masked with more intention to manipulate without getting their hands dirty, other disorders such as Machiavellianism come into play.

One repeated piece of data seen in many assessments is a particular set of behaviour patterns and actions; here is a summary; it’s linked to the past and the mechanism:

Wearing a mask for public consumption, behaving with fear of exposure, denial, avoidance, gaslighting, projection, blame-shifting, bypass, covert or overt abuse, manipulation, triangulation, discrediting their victim, lack of empathy for others, cognitive bypass, fragile ego with fantasy, fixed mindset, slow to learn about self-awareness (can remain at zero), actions fueled by experiences from the past, prefrontal cortex less active, questionable choices, seeking unhealthy validation, narcissistic supply from others, the professional victim card as a tool, egocentric, assumed capacity without any understanding of actual achievement (fantasy), fear of truth and failure. The personality disorder appears in several actions, statements, and behaviour patterns.

The child or teenager hiding in the adult body can offer an open door; it gets more complete as the mask personalities (good and bad behaviour after the trigger) hide differently depending on the experiences.

Many ask: How does this happen to a human being? What caused the effect?

Genetics can cause a person to react to specific experiences, an affected, abusive or no accountably childhood. The character is made like a sponge sucking up water; if not processed, it is projected. We are what we eat; some become a product of their environment, and some don't.

A huge percentage of people with this personality disorder go undiagnosed due to the condition preventing them from recording their own behaviour and choices are not superior, even when boundaries are not respected, and people are used, it may be drastic measures in some cases.
