Limbic System Brain Training
Summary: Development and growth start in the mental and physical areas of the human brain… which is linked to trauma hidden in the body. Makes sense? So, give it a try, read a book, take a leap of faith, and see if an adult can grow beyond their ‘first perception’ and bring something new inside their perception. To be smart, a person must learn to be smart before being smart within and around a chosen subject.
Considerations and keywords that are either negative or positive depending on the person’s understanding of the experiences…. those who can grow will, those who can’t and won’t will not. Flexible thinking is linked to what? Fixed mindsets are related to what? “I am too old too…” or “I don’t need to learn, I am …. already.” or “I can’t recover and move past this.” or “The damage is done, this is me now.” or “Why did they do that, I will never understand.” or “If I try something for 7 days, maybe I will understand something different from a different perspective.’
Firefighters like many professionals, need to understand how to keep a level head, work as a team and get the fire put out when it needs putting out. Done when many may be in shock, influenced by the effects of the face value, and unable to think with structure and training. Special tools are one element, choices are vital. If you know people have your back, and that person knows you have their back, a fire is dealt with correctly.
Reactions to something can be linked to education and experience; the second time, things can be different. When matters are repeated, introduce what may have been forgotten or not considered. Go to the core of the matter, address the centre of something, and know that changes can be made.
