Make it hard for subjects to be discussed in depth, avoidance, or bypass. Never seeing the errors, suppress accountability and projecting away, never choosing to process.  Acknowledging a fault would be too damaging to the facade. Seeing feedback as something else.

Coercive control to maintain a delusional image of the self. Research narcissistic personality disorder. Mind Blindness. Zero empathy for others. Childhood experiences with certain parent types.
