Personality Disorders
Summary: A broad term to cover Cluster A, B, C.
Childhood and genetics, abuse at certain ages, along with the environment, education, and experiences, play a part in the growth of the brain and the mind. Too little or too much of something, education on the self and empathy, the list is huge but vital for authentic balanced parenting.
Once a person leaves a P.O.W. camp, the P.O.W. camp must be removed from the person, or the experiences may continue to influence the person's perception and opinion.
Not everyone becomes affected in the same way; not everyone gains a disorder, and some may gain PTSD or CPTSD. Some bound back quickly; some took time. The important view is to reflect, accountability, and priority to grow beyond without becoming a production of the environment that a person must detach from so the cycle is not repeated.
War PTSD can go on for decades, which can mean a person has Complex Post Dramatic Stress Disorder.
Repair and a new education are vital, or many climb back into the same hole they try to avoid, or they and others will suffer until Self-Awareness and Accountability are processed. In some cases, change won’t happen; be mindful that some things never grow beyond a perception or behaviour pattern.
